The Market opened in July of 1986 as a farmers co-op dealing with many different growers from around the tri-state area and has become a well-known landmark in the northwest Baltimore county area. Specializing in annual and perennial flowers in the spring and summer, along with a great variety of early summer fruits and vegetables from the southern states of Florida, Georgia, as well as North & South Carolina. Summer crops include fresh local sweet corn, lopes, tomatoes, and more fresh items from local Baltimore and Carroll county farms. We also carry fresh produce for the Eastern Shores of Maryland, Virginia and also quality produce from the Lancaster County Amish area of Leola Pennsylvania. After the summer cools off enjoy local apples and sweet apple cider along with the late season fall crops of cabbage, broccoli, cauliflower. Summer sweet corn, tomatoes, and fruit fills the porch. Seedless watermelons and fresh made watermelon boats for any party or family get-together. |

Directions from the Baltimore beltway (I-695) are:
Take I-695 to exit 19 (I-795), which is the northwest expressway to the very end. Go through the first traffic light. Then, at the second traffic light make a left turn onto Rt. 30 (Hanover Pike).
Follow the signs towards Hampstead; it is only 5.1 miles from the turn at the traffic light.
Look for the big blue farm market and Greenhouse.
